Jimmy and Mickie, I was so sorry and saddened to hear of Jade's accident and death. My heart aches for both of you, as a parent that is one of our worst nightmares to lose one of our children, they are supposed to bury us, not the other way around but sometimes life does not happen like that. You and your families are in my thoughts and prayers, that God will give you strength and comfort and peace. I know you have lots of memories to cherish, I remember her as a beautiful little girl who smiled and laughed a lot. Blessing to all of you, Berniece

I met Jade when I was a student at Sam Houston. She tought a yankee how to make the best gravy and shared her 'secret ingredient' (it was gross). I recall the fun times we had every Monday night playing dominos with her then husband and mine. It was a running challenge every week and I looked forward to it. Unfortunately we lost touch but I'm glad she had a full life.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this sad time. Although I had not seen Jade in years, in high school she was always the happiest girl and could light up a room.

I met Jade at Sam Houston State and the two things that come to mind when I think of Jade. 1) She was the first girl ever bummed a dip of snuff off of. 2) she cooked some of the best bisquts and gravy I ever had. She wss a wonderful person and friend and my condolence goes out to her family.
