Huey Pierce Oliver, 84, of Saratoga, Texas passed away Monday, May 10, 2021 at Jefferson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Beaumont, Texas. Mr. Oliver was born on July 4, 1936 to the late Donoville Oliver and Josephine Scarkino in New Orleans, LA. He was a retired Shrimper enjoying the free spirited life of being on the Gulf waters. He was proud of knowing he was named after one time LA. Governor Huey B. Long and friends with George Jones. In recent years Mr. Oliver accepted Jesus as his Savior and was a faithful servant.

Mr. Oliver is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Tommy Oliver; sister, Marie Carr; and grandson, Jefferey Lamberth.

Those remaining to cheris his memory are his daughters, Josie Hillyer and husband Gary of Kountze, Texas, Victoria Boyle and husband Ian of Lumberton, Texas, Angela Seymour and husband Bubba of Warren, Texas, other loving relatives and hosts of friends.
