Precious Carmen and Arthur and family, I'm so sorry that I didn't know of your dad's Homegoing until I returned Thursday. It has been so difficult for you all, but just keep remembering that your dad is in the most wonderful and absolutely beautiful place than he has ever known; his body is perfect now; he's with all his loved ones who've gone before; and, most of all, he's rejoicing with our precious Savior and Lord, The Lord Jesus Christ. Oh, what a gathering that is now! Remember, too, that God does everything perfectly and is leaving no one out of His plans in each thing He does everyday. May our gracious God comfort you all and bring you His peace as only He can. I send my love and many prayers to you and yours. Betty Brown

Mrs. Singleton, Carmen and all of the family, I am very sorry to hear of this news. Your family was a big part of my childhood. I always enjoyed going to your house and you and Mr. Singleton made me feel comfortable. I know you will miss him. I pray that in time the sting of his loss will be replaced with the wonderful memories I know you all have. God bless the entire family.

... Sunday, we lost the Patriarch of the Singleton family... it would be so wonderful to hear him and Daddy 'Debating' one more time, but I personally wouldn't call them back if I could... I can only imagine the peace he is experiencing and the beauty that he is seeing... I know he will smile big when he sees Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Shirley, Uncle Bo, Uncle Darrell, Aunt Mildred, Daddy and Hollis Jr.... BUT nothing will compare to him seeing Jesus!! RIP Uncle 'Baby Bear'... We love you
