Helen JoAnn Flowers Johnson, 86, of Daisetta, Texas passed away June 27, 2019, at Magnolia Place Health Care in Liberty, TX. She was born September 10, 1932, in Fletcher, OK, to Remus Lee Mansel and Mary Alice Hickman.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Melvis Johnson. Son, Gary Flowers and sisters LaVernia Flowers and Corean Asher.

Those left to cherish her memory are; sons Kenneth Flowers and wife Cheryl of Hankamer; Nathan Flowers of Liberty. Daughters, Cheryl Gaither and husband Ed of Three Rivers, Texas, and Miranda Simmons and husband Timmy of Daisetta, Texas, and a host of loving family and friends.

Grandchildren; Tonya Davis, Melissa Gaither, Steven Gaither, Kenneth R. Flowers Jr. Stephanie Flowers, Nova Don Flowers, Hayleigh Simmons, Adison Simmons, Payton Simmons, and numerous great-grandchildren and 1 great - great grandson.

A service of remembrance will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2019, at 2:00 P.M.at Central Baptist Church in Daisetta, Texas, with Reverend Leslie Gaines officiating. Interment will follow at Guedry cemetery in Batson, Texas.

There will be a gathering of family and friends on Saturday, June 29, 2019, from 5:00 P.M.until 7:00 P.M. at Central Baptist Church in Daisetta,Texas.

Honoring Helen Johnson as pallbearers will be Zachary Davis, Tyler Dobbs, Chris Fisher, Steven Gaither, Craig Johnson, Joshua Gaither. Honorary pallbearer is Kenneth Flowers Jr.
