of Trinity, TX, formerly of Beaumont, died on Wednesday August 12, 2015 at East Texas Medical Center of Trinity. She was 78.

There will be a graveside service on Thursday August 20, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at Guedry cemetery in Batson.

A native of Raymondville, MO, she had lived in Beaumont many years and had worked for Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital as a office clerk before moving to Trinity.

She is survived by her husband Herbert Green of Trinity, son, Thomas Foster and wife Shelby of Kingsville, TX, and daughter Cindy Hines and husband Curtis of Willis, TX. Sister, Billie Holder of Houston, MO. Grandchildren; 4 and 1 great grandchild.

Georgia and I worked together at St. Elizabeth Hosp. for many years and became good friends. After she retired and moved to Trinity, I visited with her many times. We always had a wonderful time together shopping, visiting flee markets and either cooking or going out to eat.(she and Herb loved the pork chops I fixed for our supper.) She collected all sorts of cups and dishes and had so many, but she would always find another cup to buy. She was a very special person and friend and I'm going to miss her. I know she is at peace and is no longer hurting. I miss you already, my friend. Janis
