I first met butch and his wonderful family back in 93 in Batson,he always was a very soft spoken man and loved to cut up and joke alot. He had a heart of gold and he would do anything to help people if he could. I remember my car broke down one time and it was getting late and no way to fix it till the next day so he opened his home to me. I remember sitting on his front porch swing and listen to him tell old story's of old days. He loved to listen to old gospel music with his moma and watch hehaw, he always treated me like family. He will be truly missed. Prayers for Pattrick and tommy.

Butch was a very good person. All the years I worked with him. I never heard him say anything bad about anyone. He rode that old tractor rain sleet or snow. His memory is etched in my mind. Sad to hear that he is gone.
