Gary Wayne Pitts, 69, of Hardin, died on Saturday January 14, 2017 at Houston Hospice.

A native of Texas City, he had lived in Hardin since 2004 and was retired as a pipefitter and was also a U.S. Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his father, Virgil Clarence Pitts and stepfather, Dave Laird.

Survivors are his wife, Kathy Pitts of Hardin; mother Clara Pitts of Llano; Sons, Gary Morris and wife Karen of Denton, Roy Pitts of Hardin, and Dale Pitts and wife Hillary of Hardin. Brother, John Owen Pitts of League City, and sisters, Abbie Kaper of Llano, and Connie Center of Sunrise Beach, TX,

Grandchildren are Cameron Morris, Gary Morris, Jackson Morris, Jameson Morris, Brennyn Pitts and Jaxsyn Pitts. Cremation under the care of Faith & Family Funeral Services.
