Freda Juanette LeNormand, 78, of Batson, died Saturday, January 13, 2018, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
A service of remembrance will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at Faith & Family Funeral Services at 12:00 P.M. with Reverend Tolbert Hudspeth officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Dale Cemetery in Daisetta. Serving as pallbearers are Chuck Alexander, Monty Price, Cole Vanya, Kevin Vanya, Tully Melancon, Jason Price, Bubba Guedry, Bruce Lockhart, Jesse Brown and Joseph Whiteside.
The family will be receiving friends also on Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at Faith & Family Funeral Services starting at 10:00 A.M. until service time.
Freda was born October 30, 1939, in Batson, TX, where she lived all of her life, to Ray Vanya and Gracie Wiggins. She was a homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ray Vanya and Gracie Wiggins., husband Robert LeNormand., brothers, Raymond Vanya and Terrell Vanya., sisters, Coonie Riley and Carol Price.
Those left behind to cherish her memories are her son; Robert Randel LeNormand II and wife Gwen of Batson, daughters; Vicki Whiteside of China Springs, TX, Patti Blackwell of Hardin and Juanette Valentine and husband Fred of Shepherd, TX., sister; Terry McOmber and husband Bob of Hardin, grandchildren; Debbie, Jenny, Joseph, Robert, Stephanie, Lance, and 17 great-grandchildren.
