Frances Louise 'Fran' Johnson, 67, of Liberty, passed away Friday November 22, 2013. She started modeling at an early age. Due to her petite size and quick responses, she became involved with drag racing. She worked for The National Hot Rod Association for 20 years. Later in life, she moved to Liberty to be closer to family. She then went to work for, and retired as a Jailer for Liberty County Corrections.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Marie Rooks; brother, Fred Rooks.

She is survived by her son, Christopher Williams and wife Lisa of West Columbia, TX; Granddaughter, Grace Williams of Hardin; brother, Jim Partan and Wife Marie of San Diego, CA.

Cremation services have been arranged through Faith and Family Funeral Services.
