Fannie Jane Laird, 81, of Kountze, Texas, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024, peacefully at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on December 13, 1942, in Sealy, Texas to the late Daniel Sullivant Brown and Sally Floyd Blake.
Fannie is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clyde Laird; brothers, Douglas Brown, Thurman Brown, and Lealand Brown; sisters, Beth Coody, and Ora Dell Presley. She is survived by son, Timmy Frazier of Silsbee, Texas; daughter, Tambra Edwards of Kountze, Texas; brother, Ruben Brown of Lake Jackson, Texas; grandchildren, Janie Warden, Daniel Warden, Shayla Odom, and Madison Frazier; great-grandchildren, Oaklynn Warden, Kainsley and Karsyn Authement.
Serving the family as pallbearers are Daniel Warden, Chris Lowe, Robert Presley, Brian Presley, Sammy Authement, Stuart Laird, and Luke Laird.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2024, from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at Little Rock Assembly of God, Kountze, Texas with a lunch to follow from 11:00 am – 12:00pm. Funeral services to begin at 1:00pm officiated by Pastor Ernest Brown. Interment to follow at Pine Ridge Cemetery, Kountze, Texas.
Services are under the direction of Faith and Family Funeral Services, Batson, Texas.
