92 of Hull, Texas died Saturday July 13, 2013 at Fairy's Landing Nursing Center in Hull. She was born in Houston, Texas on October 29, 1920 to Louis Manuel and Alice Hebert. Ethel and had lived in Hull for most of her life and was a member of The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Liberty. She also lived in Beaumont, Texas for many years and had worked for Gulf States Utilities, Hull drug store, and also worked in the family business Hull Hardware Store for many years before becoming an homemaker. Ethel was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years James Pruett Richardson; brother Ward Manuel; sisters; Joachim Manuel and Sylvester Manuel. She is survived by her children; Jimmy Richardson and wife Nancey of Hull, Beth Roberson and husband James of Beaumont, Pat George and husband David of Austin, Edward Richardson and wife Rachel of Hull, and Jan Boley of Lott, Texas. Eight grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren. The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday July 16, 2013 from 6:00P.M. until 9:00P.M. at Faith & Family Funeral Services Chapel. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday July 17, 2013 at 10:00A.M. at the Catholic Cemetery in Liberty.
