Ethel Mae was my father's first cousin, his name was Gerald Anderson. He often told us stories about what they would do when they were kids and how much fun they used to have! Of course she was much older when I had the privilege to meet Ethel Mae and Fred. I can say without a doubt Ethel Mae was the kindest and sweetest person I have ever known. My husband and I went to visit her and Fred a few times and one time we were there I happened to be about 8 months pregnant. When it came time to leave I cried and cried because I didn't want to leave. I was ready to leave everything behind in Spring and just stay with Ethel Mae and Fred! She will be greatly missed but I'm happy to know she is now with my Dad and the rest of my and her family who have gone before us to be with the Lord!

Mrs. Mehl was such a sweet lady and an encourager of those around her. I still have a couple of notes she wrote to me several years ago. She was such a blessing to me, as I'm sure, she was to many others. My prayers go out to Mr. Mehl and the rest of the family. Kay

Ethel Mae loved Christ. She never missed an opportunity to tell everyone in her path about Christ. She is the best example of a Godly woman that I have ever know. Thank you Fred for sharing her with me. See you soon. Love you Moore, Debra
