Ermadean Brothers, 97, of Prairieville, LA, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at Ascension Oaks Nursing and Rehab in Gonzales, LA. She was born November 4, 1921, in Paducah, TX to the late Joseph and Willie Jones Jordan. She was a pastor’s wife for 50 years serving in the ministry of the Assemblies of God in the state of Texas. She was a homemaker with a servant’s heart. She touched many lives and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. We love you dearly mother and will miss you, but know that one day we will all be reunited again!
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 72 years, Reverend Raymond Brothers; sons, Donald and Roger Brothers; daughter, Diana Brothers; brothers, Wilmer Jordan, Clovis Jordan, Billy Jordan, and Calvin Jordan; and sisters, Opal Sanders, Dixie Parker, and Wynona Johnson.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving daughters, Loyce Hollingsworth and husband Travis of Greenwell Springs, LA, Nancy Messer and husband Thurston of Prairieville, LA, and Patty Love of Belton, TX; sister, Altha Parker of Eunice, NM; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of loving family and friends.
A service of remembrance will be held Saturday, June 29, 2019, at 12:00 p.m. at Faith & Family Funeral Services, with Reverend Mike Haman officiating, interment will follow at Guedry Cemetery. A gathering of Mrs. Brothers' family and friends will be held Saturday, June 29, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. also at Faith & Family Funeral Services.
Honoring Mrs. Brothers as pallbearers will be Stephen Hollingsworth, Darren Hollingsworth, Lance Hollingsworth, Clint Messer, Nooner Hudson, and Jonathan Brothers.
