Erin Michelle Russell, 35, of Batson, formerly of Hardin, passed away Monday, July 29, 2019, in Batson. She was born on August 11, 1983, in Liberty, TX to Joe Michael Russell and Linda Garcia. Erin was a Leo, loved animals and birds, she loved being in the water and spending time with her friends, she enjoyed relaxing and playing the guitar, and if anyone needed anything Erin was always the first one helping.

She is preceded in death by her father; grandparents, Bevo and Pat Russell, and Fidel and Delting Garcia; and aunt, Regina Montoya.

Those left to cherish her memory is her loving mother and step-father, Linda and Ardell Brandl of Hardin; daughter, Autumn Woods of Hardin; step-brothers, Timothy Scott Brandl of Baytown, and Darryl Keith Brandl of Liberty; sister, Laura Shew and husband Craig of Kingwood; fiance, Steven Yust of Batson; niece, Mia Belle Shew of Kingwood; nephew Talan Shew of Kingwood; numerous aunts, uncles, and a host of loving friends.

A service of remembrance will be Saturday, August 3, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at Faith & Family Funeral Services with Reverend Gideon Watson and Klint Bush officiating, interment will follow at Hardin Chapel Cemetery in Hardin. A gathering of Erin's family and friends will also be Saturday, August 3, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Faith & Family Funeral Services.

Honoring Erin as pallbearers are, JP Ellis, Troy Arnold, Clinton Ray Arnold, Adam Garcia, Renee Garcia, and Michael Garcia.

Loved seeing her posts on facebook..she was eccentric which I love! Stunningly beautiful. You could very much tell she was a loyal soul! Spoke so highly of her friends and family members and I loved how loyal she was to Steven. I saw beauty and happiness radiate though her. Her snap chat filters that she loved lol! Her love for her dog! I will choose to remember her as the eccentric little hippie chick with a beautiful soul who made me smile often! Prayers for all of her family and friends. Erin was a beautiful soul... Always inspiring each of us to see the positive light thru our own darkest times or trials in our own personal lives! She loved Beastly (her dog) in which was always said to be her very best friend! She also loved catching snakes and wasn't really scared of anything! She was a proud momma, always quick to brag on her daughter Autumn! She also loved Steven and her mom was the light of her life as she always made sure Erin was well taken care of... Erin was a hippie chic who always celebrated 420 when the clock striked the national smoke time! And had no shame in expressing her love for herb... she was often found at the Moss Hill river and was definitely a fish..!!!! She loved Mexican food and music!!!! God how I loved our visits and memories.... She was anything but boring! Quick come backs and the life of the party! Could shake that booty and dance like no other! Lol.... And could be a sweet lady yet in .00001 seconds flip into ghetto psychotic mode QUICK FAST AND IN A HURRY! NO SHAME IN HER GAME! I LOVED THIS WOMAN WITH EVERYTHING INSIDE OF ME!
