Edna Royce Burch Anderson

Edna Burch Anderson, 63, of Dayton, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2016 in Liberty, Texas.

A service of remembrance will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday May 11, 2016 at Bibleway Pentecostal Church, with Brother Jim Cain and Brother Adolph Johnson officiating, with internment to follow at Hillside Cemetery.

The family will be receiving friends before the service also on Wednesday morning from 9:00 A.M. till time of service at Bibleway Pentecostal Church.

Edna was born on May 28, 1952 to Bay and Helen Burch. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers; Aaron Burch, James Burch, Jimmy Burch, a sister; Barbara Burch. and a spouse, Roland Anderson.

Edna was employed as a Timekeeper by Brown and Root. She loved to be the Life of the party, as was sometimes ' the monkey of the crowd'. She collected clocks, and dolls with fancy dresses and she loved to travel.

Edna's survivors include her brothers; Shelton Burch and wife Marla of Dayton, Dennis Burch and wife Diana of Liberty, John Burch of Liberty, Lester Burch and wife Etta of Liberty, Oscar Burch of Liberty, and Loryie 'Buddy' Burch and wife Vidor of Liberty.

Sister, Brenda Jackson and husband William of Dayton, along with numerous nieces and nephews, and numerous great nieces numerous great nephews.

We were fortunate to get to know Edna through her friendship with Terry during their stay at Allenbrook. The kindness and love she blessed Terry, Jeb and me will never be forgotten. She will always hold a special place in our hearts and I am glad she was our friend.

I have known Edna since 1st grade. She was always the sweetest girl. She had a great sense of humor and never a harsh word for anyone. My thoughts and prayers are with her family & friends. RIP Edna!!
