I am so lucky that I got to be your friend man. We had both shared such a great passion for the medical field. We always talked about getting a career in the medical field and working in the medical center in Houston. I remember last fall in anatomy we would study my flash cards before a test and you would get a grade higher than me. The flashcards I had been studying for awhile. I will miss shooting hoops with you. I will miss our conversations about sports, movies, school, and girls. I will just miss our conversations. I will even miss your sarcastic jokes. I'm glad I got to know you and I will see you again someday.

I guess one memory of Glen I'll always treasure will be of his baptism. Glen loved the Lord and had no problem asking Jesus into his heart but he didn't care to much for putting his head under the water. I had the great privilege of assisting Glen the night he was to be baptized. He wanted to follow Jesus in believers baptism but every time the preacher went to dunk him his ol head just would not go under. My cousin JJ Johnson evn tried getting in the water with him in hopes it would give him some courage. After many failed attempts we all agreed Glen was plenty wet enough and his heart was baptized even if his head wasn't wet. Too bad sprinkling wasn't an option in a baptist church.

Douglas Glen...I sure can't pick one memory, there are too many. I loved his giggle and grin. Y'all know the ones...appearing just after he rested his elbow on my head calling me short or as he tugged on my ponytail. He had the best bear hugs, he was never stingy with them. I think anyone who has ever met him knows how special he was...I will miss him so much.
