Honorary pallbearers are his nephews; Andy Maxey, Randy Maxey, Daniel Winard, Jerimah Winard, Yosef Winard, Samuel Winard, Theodore Winard and niece; Abigail Winard.
A graveside service to honor Douglas's memory will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025, at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery in Houston, Texas. The service is scheduled to begin at 11:00 AM, officiated by Joan Wynn.
