Clyde Laird 81, of Kountze, died Thursday May 24, 2018, at his residence surrounded by family and friends. Funeral service will be held on Saturday May 26, 2018 at 4:30 P.M. at Faith & Family Funeral Services Chapel with Reverend Ernest Brown officiating

There will be a gathering of family and friends also on Saturday May 26, 2018 starting at 2:00 P.M. until time of service.

He was born March 14, 1937 in Kountze, TX to Ethel Katherine ( Davis) Laird and James Warren Laird. Clyde was an electrician by trade and was a member of Local 479 of Beaumont.

Clyde was an avid outdoorsmen who loved hunting, fishing, spending time at Little Vegas sitting around a campfire enjoying a cold one and going mud riding. He looked forward to the opening of rifle season to eat Fannie's famous cathead biscuits.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 37 years Fannie Laird of Kountze. Daughters,Tana McCormick and her husband Doug of Kountze and Tambra Edwards and husband Gary of Kountze. Sons, Timmy Frazier and wife Christi of Silsbee, Stuart Laird and wife Donna of Kountze. Sister, Juanita Justice of Albuquerque, New Mexico and brothers, Hubert Laird of Town Bluff, and Wayne Laird of Sour Lake.

Grandchildren are Derek McCormick, Dusti Joyner, Dana Kelly, Luke Laird, Janie Wilda, Daniel Warden, Katie Kelley and Madison Frazier, and 4 great grandchildren.
