When I moved to Lufkin in eighth grade, Chris was one of the first people I had met in school. We attended Lufkin High School together and became very close and over the years we have became very close friends and my family absolutely loved him. Oh how I wish I could turn back the time and go back to high school where we would play Uno in our last period class together, take silly selfies, eat lunch together, have you come to my house with pizza and so many more memories. I miss you so much Chris, I would do anything to hear your voice right now and have you give me a big hug. You gave the best hugs. You were always so silly and goofy and did anything to make me laugh and I miss that so much. Till I see you again. I will miss you every day.

Christopher always had a smile on his face. He worked for months alongside his grandfather, David, to restore my gutted house back into my home after Harvey. When I walk into my beautiful home, I think of Chris and David! I will be forever grateful for Chris. He was such a beautiful person. He will be deeply missed. Rest In Peace precious Chris! Love, Kim Fuller

I had lived in Lufkin for a couple years before Chris and me got close. He always have the best warm hugs. There were days he'd pick me up for school with breakfast ready and waiting bcz he knew I probably only woke up early enough to get dressed and wouldn't eat till lunch or dinner that day, cause I always thought I was too busy. I ended up moving to Tyler but had never been to the Lufkin zoo, and of course Chris made it his mission to take me before I left. He's going to be missed, and I'll always have him in my heart.

I am extremely sorry for y’all’s loss. Chris was a extremely cheerful and uplifting person and a extremely good friend. I remember as a kid playing baseball all the good times Chris and I had in the dugout….and I remember how excited I was to see a smile no one will ever forget at the start of middle school. And from 6th grade on I had a friend I knew had my back. A friend I could call to go do stupid stuff with. I know that he still has my back now…..till we meet again my friend.

OH Sweet Christopher David. So many sweet memories of you. The biggest smile I ever seen on your face was the day your Mom & Josh got married. You could see the love in your eyes for your sweet family. Watch over your awesome mom, beautiful sister, and great dad (Josh). Also your grandparents, aunts, and cousins. Everyone will miss you deeply. DeeDee Bruce
