Charlie Wayne Daniel, 64, of Batson, died Wednesday, October 18, 2017, at his residence with family by his side.

The family will be receiving friends on Friday October 20, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Faith & Family Chapel of Batson.

Graveside service will be held on Saturday October 21, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Guedry cemetery in Batson.

A native of Dayton, he had lived in Batson, 41 years and had worked as a welder for Spirax - Sarco Company.

He was preceded in death by his father, Nathan Daniel Sr. and sister Sharron Luann Daniel. He is survived by his wife Dora Daniel of Batson, mother, Mavis Manners Daniel of Batson. Daughter, Melissa Daniel Preston and husband Johnny of Batson, Domini Daniel of Batson, and son, Charlie Wayne Daniel Jr. of Batson. Brother, Nathan Daniel Jr. of Batson, and sister, Jimmie Lemley of Huffman

Grandchildren are Kenzie Mykayla Kirkland, Kyley Renee Kirkland, Seth Allen Ray, Aiden Romus Preston, and Sharlee Reathann Fishel. Great granddaughter, Addielynn Luann Howell.
