Cassie Lou Sims 73, of Iola, TX formerly of Thicket, died on Thursday February 9, 2017 at her residence in Iola, TX.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday February 12, 2017 at 11:30 A.M. at Felps Cemetery in Thicket, with Leonard Loftin officiating.

The family will be receiving friends on Saturday February 11, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Faith & Family Funeral Services.

Cassie Lou Rhodes Sims passed away February 9, 2017. She was born March 16, 1943 in Simmons Bottoms, Texas to Charlie and Mabel (Majors) Rhodes.

Cassie is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie & Mabel (Majors) Rhodes and siblings, Charles H. (Buck) Rhodes, Annie Lee Frazier, Ray Rhodes, Viola Davis, Dusty Rhodes and Loyce Collins.

Those left behind to cherish her memories are her children, Jimmie Wright and wife Jenine, Allen McClarnon and wife Stephanie and Susan Ybarra, brothers, I.D. Rhodes of Thicket and Henry Rhodes of Dayton, grandchildren, James Dwayne Wright, Kendra Wright, James Leon Wright, Amanda Mills, Angela Kinna, John Miles, Trisha Ireland, Jason McClarnon, Tara McClarnon, Brandon McClarnon and also 14 great grandchildren.

Serving as honorary pallbearers are Wyatt Patterson, Morgan Patterson, Garrett Patterson, Greg Dolgner, William Rhodes, Dusty 'Dub' Rhodes and Charles H. Rhodes.
