Carrie Jean Wagstaff

Carrie Jean Wagstaff, 63, of Buna, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2019, at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. She was born June 7, 1956, in Beaumont to the late Barry Franks and Carrie Thornell. Mrs. Carrie devoted her life to caring for her family. She loved to cook, enjoyed fishing and camping. Maw's grandchildren were her pride and joy. She will be truly missed by all who loved her.

Those left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 32 years, Larry Glenn Wagstaff; son, Calvin Glenn Wagstaff and wife Patricia of Evadale; daughter, Jennifer Nicole Wagstaff of Colmesneil; brother, Billy Smith and wife Sondra of Winnie; grandchildren, Westen Michael Williams, Carson Glenn Wagstaff, Jaxxon Lee Wagstaff, and Karah Jean Wagstaff; best friend, Debra Ard, and a host of loving friends.

A private memorial service of remembrance will be held.

My sweet momma... I love you so much... Give grandma the biggest kiss for me and tell her i love her so much... You always said 'what are you gonna do when im dead and gone and cant fry your chicken anymore' and id always say 'idk i guess ill only have kfc or churchs until were in heaven together again' but i fried up some chicken legs the other night that i know would have made you both so proud. . it tasted just like yours. Theres not a day thats gonna pass im not gonna miss you but i know youre right here with me every day and ill never truly be alone. I love you so much momma.

Me Carrie Jean always went to the movies this one time went to see Friday the 13th I love horror movie s but where the Jason jump out of water and got the girl in the boat.i threw my popcorn and drink on a couple in back of me.carrie Jean laugh at me for months and told everyone.thats the funniest thing we went through together.luv you my sister I will never forget our movie s times.
