My cousin Brooks will be greatly missed. I remember him as so strong and determined as a young man. He grew into a man of strong character, a good example for all those who bear his name. May the footsteps that he left, lead all to believe in The Lord. 'I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which The Lord , the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day- and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. ' II Tim. 4:7

Uncle Brooks, you will be greatly missed. You were a strong example of being a man and taking care of your family. You and my dad ( Emmett McKelroy ) used to go fishing at Lake Conroe and caught some very large catfish. I worked my early years in your store, McElroy's bargain appliance. Say hello to my dad for me. He can reintroduce you to your dad ( Brooks McKelroy 1 ). Dad will sell the washing machines, and you can deliver them to the mansions in heaven. We love you and will miss you. You left the family strong.
