Brenda Gail Fowler, 69, of Saratoga, Texas passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at Baptist Hospital, Beaumont, Texas. She was born in Saratoga, Texas on December 2, 1954, to the late J.W. Brown and Mary Frances Brown.
Brenda had a contagious laugh that would draw you in. She loved with her whole heart and had a kind word for everyone she came into contact with. If someone was in need, Brenda always tried to find a way to help; it was not uncommon for her to open her home, over the years, to help nieces, nephews, and friends that just needed extra love and care. If you knew her well, then you know being a wife, mother, and Nana made her the happiest. There will never be another quite like her.
Brenda is preceded in death by parents; son, Michael Fowler; and siblings, Lilly Laird, Rose Mary Stroud, Florance McAdams, Barbara Ann Martin, Sharon Courts, Johnny Brown, Glenn Ray Brown, and Tony Brown; and brother-in-law, Homer Arrant.
She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Fowler; daughters, Mary Henry and husband Jason Henry and Jessica Drake and husband Arlis Drake; siblings, J.M. Brown and wife Betty Brown, Darrell Brown and wife Dorothy Brown, Ida Pierce and husband Carl Pierce, Bearl Brown and wife Becky Brown, Gearld Brown, Vicky Daily and husband Terry, Linda Arrant, and Teresa Simmons and husband Kenny Simmons; granddaughters, Juliana Morris and husband Lance Morris, Makenna Henry, Sydnee Drake, Kamryn Bush and Erin Chiappetta; grandsons, Andre Drake and Ethan Drake; great-granddaughter, Mary-Claire Morris; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Serving the family as pallbearers are Anthony Brown, Derek Brown, Ricky Brown, Kevin Brown, Dean Brown, and Joe Brown. Honorary Pallbearers are Glenn Sthram and Matthew Graham.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm at First Baptist Church, Saratoga, Texas. Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 pm officiated by Pastor Frank Aragon and Pastor Darrell Brown. Interment to follow at Guedry Cemetery, Batson, Texas.
