Brenda Joy Besch

1950 ∼ 2026

Brenda Joy Besch, a beloved mother, devoted Christian, and cherished friend, was born on May 22, 1950, in Dayton, Texas. She gracefully transitioned from this world on March 5, 2026, in Houston, Texas, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness that will forever resonate with those who knew her.

Brenda dedicated many years of her life to nurturing children through her own daycare, Children's Castle, all with the wish to be close to her son, Brian Besch. Her extensive career spanned over three decades in the banking industry, where she was deeply appreciated by her colleagues and clients alike. Upon her retirement, Brenda discovered a new calling. For the last twelve years of her life, she served as a college administrator at Lone Star College in the Woodlands, Texas, where she became an invaluable support to the professors.

An enthusiastic cook, Brenda delighted her family with her cooking creations; her meals were not just food, but love served on a plate. In moments of leisure, she could be found cheering passionately for her beloved Texas A&M Aggies, showcasing her unwavering spirit for football. Their games brought her immense joy, while her love of fishing allowed her to connect with nature and find peace by the water.

Brenda's personality shone brightly. She had a unique gift for making those around her feel cherished and adored. Her devotion to family and friends was unmatched, and she took great pleasure in spoiling her loved ones with affection and thoughtfulness. Brenda was a woman of deep faith, embodying her Christian values daily, serving as an inspiration to all who crossed her path.

Brenda was preceded in death by her cherished father, Max Edward Kliem, Jr.; her beloved mother, Corine Laferne Hunt; her husband of 17 years, Alfred Besch; her sister, Barbara Wallace; her mother-in-law, Margaret Besch; and sister-in-law, Linda Gruver. Their memories live on in the hearts of all who loved her.

She leaves behind her devoted son, Brian Besch; her niece, Teresa Conner, and her husband, William; her nephews, Max Touchet and Derrick Mobley; and a host of loving extended family and close-knit friends who will forever hold her memory dear.

A memorial gathering will be held on March 14, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Faith & Family Funeral Services in Batson, Texas, followed by a memorial service celebrating her remarkable life from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM with Pastor Gideon Watson officiating. Brenda's spirit will continue to shine through the love she shared, and her legacy will never be forgotten.

No one could brighten your day more than Brenda! She was Al’s “Go-Girl” and I can see them rejoicing as they are now reunited. Her love of life was contagious and she celebrated every day to the fullest. Our world is a little less bright and kind without her. We were all so blessed and truly honored to have known this incredible soul.

For years, you were my colleague at North Harris and good friend outside of the College. Your positivity and compassion were always on display. Thank you for bringing out the best in people!

Goodbye dearest friend & dinner companion! How often you helped me through the years since first meeting you at Lone Star College. Your concern for others always seemed to outweigh concern for self. Our decades of dinner dates are now my most precious memories. Rest easy, as you now belong to the ages.

Brenda was one of the sweetest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She was family by blood, A sister in Christ and a really good, caring. kind of friend. She will be missed by many, but I know she is rejoicing with Al, Uncle Max, Aunt Corrine and the others that have made the same journey.
