Bobbie Best was my daughter Christa's typing teacher in high school. Christa adored her. That is how I came to know her. Over the years we became friends. She never saw me that she. didn't ask about Christa and my family. She prayed for us when we found our grand daughter had cancer, and when we lost KatieT cried for us and prayed. She was one of the most genuine Christians I ever have known. She was a special lady and I too will carry memories of her forever in my heart. I will miss seeing her.She and I often visited in RJ's or the post office. She will be missed by many.

Bobbie Lu Best will forever be etched in my memory. As a child, I recall attending her wedding. Then she was my high school typing teacher and yearbook sponsor. She loved her students. I rarely staple two pieces of paper together without thinking of her instructing us on the 'proper' way. She was a role model teacher. I can remember her two daughters arriving in the classroom after riding on the bus from the elementary campus. Time flies but memories are forever. She taught me, my husband and our two children. What a legacy. You did it right or you didn't do it. Students wanted to please her. Later, I became a teacher and she had such an impression on me that I relied on her techniques in my own classroom. I later taught in our alma mater when her own grandsons were in high school. She was my sorority sister in Alpha Delta Kappa, my teacher, my mentor and my friend. She will live on in the hearts of so many. Bobbie Lu was the Best!
