86 of Thicket, died Thursday May 21, 2015 at Harbor Hospice of Beaumont.
A native of Cedar Bayou, TX, she had lived in Thicket, most of her life and was an homemaker. She was a devoted Christian woman who fought a good fight. She attended the First Assembly of God Church of Saratoga.
She was preceded in death by her parents Owen Remie Davis and Willie Mae Kervin also sister Lily George and brother Owen R. Davis.
Survivors are husband, Lowell Shaw of Thicket. Daughter, Lanelle Shaw - Young and husband Ted of Cypress, TX. Grandson, Andrew Stilwell and wife Shannon. Great grandchildren, Finley Andrew Stilwell and Kieran Avery Stilwell of Cypress.
Brother, Orville Davis and wife Valerie of Thicket, and brother in law, Alf Shaw and wife Dorothy of Hardin.
Step granddaughter, Wendy M. Young of Flatonia, and step-great granddaughter Christinia Cofield and her 3 children of Carlsbad, N.M. Also numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of loving friends.
A service of remembrance will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday May 25, 2015 at The First Assembly of God Church of Saratoga, with Reverend Jeff Blizzard and Reverend Adolph Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Felps cemetery in Thicket.
The family will be receiving friends on Sunday May 24, 2015 from 5:00P.M. to 8:00P.M. at First Assembly of God Church of Saratoga.
