Billy W Edmondson Sr

Billy Wayne Edmondson Sr., 73, of Hull, passed away Monday, August 12, 2019, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Edmondson was born October 26, 1945, in Memphis, TN to the late Hollis Edward Edmondson Sr. and Mary Louise Reese.

A long time residence of Hull, Mr. Edmondson was a retired Ironworker for Union Local 84 — Houston. He enjoyed fishing, and rooting for his Houston Texans. Billy was an amazing dad and the best Pawpaw to his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him but his legacy will continue on.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Hollis Edmondson Jr; daughter, Stacy Lynn Edmondson; sister, Deborah Renee Edmondson; and granddaughter, Madison Rae Roach.

Those left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 40 years, Judy Ann Glenn Edmondson of Hull; sons, Billy Wayne Edmondson Jr. of Livingston, John Michael Edmondson and wife Betty of Gap, PA, William Mitchell Edmondson and wife Tina of Daisetta, and Clifford Dewayne Edmondson and wife Traci of Hull; daughter, Karen Ann Edmondson Perry of Daisetta; 13 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and a host of loving friends and family.

A service of remembrance will be Thursday, August 15, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at LifePoint Church in Daisetta, TX with Reverend Lonnie Jordan and Reverend Bradley Davis officiating, interment will follow at Oakdale Cemetery in Daisetta. A gathering of Mr. Edmondson's family and friends will be Wednesday, August 14, 2019, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. also at LifePoint Church in Daisetta.

Honoring Billy as pallbearers are Clifford Edmondson, Mitchell Edmondson, Bailey Edmondson, Clifford Edmondson Jr, Colton Roach, and Robert Fregia Honorary pallbearers will be Joseph Roach Jr and Braydon Roach.

Bro.Bill was one of a kind always treated anyone like family,had a heart of gold. I remember the first time i met him it was in Daisetta tx, some of our youth went over after church to ask if mitch,Cliff and Karen could go eat with all of us ,Bro.bill smiled gave them money and off we went. Bro.Bill had love for everyone, he may of not attended church often but would go out of his way for anyone.

When I lost my dad at 9 years old..... He became my dad, my "protector" at 16, When I met ALL of the Edmondson's and ALL have been in my my heart ever since. I love my Edmondson Family and pray for God's peace.
