Long time Liberty resident Beverly Ann Mooring passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 in Liberty. She was 56.

Mrs. Mooring was born May 14, 1958, in Houston, to Vernon and Myrtle Sommerfeld.

Shortly after moving to Liberty, she met and married the love of her life.Beverly and Ronald Mooring were married 34 years until his death in 2012.

The Moorings raised three children of their own, but Mrs. Mooring was also considered a mother by the neighborhood kids and her children's closest friends.

Mrs. Mooring was an avid gardener, with a green thumb that was the envy of many. She also loved to cook and bake for family and friends and was quick to lend a hand when she could.

She adored her grandchildren, cheering them on in school sports and club activities, making memories and celebrating their milestones. She was loved by many.

Mrs. Mooring was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her sister, Susan Renee Sommerfeld.

She is survived by her daughters, Susan Schrock and husband Seth of Arlington, and Bambi LePach and husband David of Georgia. Sons, Charles Mooring and wife Melissa of Baytown, and Stephen Mooring and fiance Melissa Stith of Beaumont.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, John and Ryan LePach of Georgia, Owen and Magnolia Schrock of Arlington, Ayden, Jillian and Ella Rae Mooring of Baytown, and Carson Mooring of Lumberton.
