Betty was my first childhood friend when I arrived in Sour Lake in 1960.We rode bikes, played baseball.Had so much fun together. When her Mom passed, she was crushed as a little girl.I loved her so much,it hurt me so when she was crying.I have loved her since 1960.I didn’t get to see her but I would text her and find out how she was doing.I always closed my messages with how much she meant to me.She will always have a huge piece of my heart.I love you Betty.Thank you for being my friend.I will be seeing you soon.
