Bennie Dale Hard

1944 ∼ 2016

After many, many years of battling multiple health conditions, Bennie Dale Hard, 72 of Hull, went to be with our Lord at 10:55pm on November 27, 2016, surrounded by family.

He was married to his beautiful wife on December 30, 1974 and this year - 42 years later - they have 3 children, 10 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, and one great-granddaughter on the way. He was also well known and greatly respected on the waterways known as 'Capt. Hard' as the Captain of many different Tow Boats during his 35 year career. In addition he was a devout Christian and a member of the Masonic Lodge #995. This great man meant so much to so many people. He was our rock... our hero. And that is the way he will forever live on in our memories.

Bennie is pre-deceased by his father and mother, Leonard and Lois Hard; son Randal Hard; and sister Florence Huse. He is survived by his wife Nadine Hard; Brothers Charles and Albert Hard; Sister Ann Bullock; Son Chris Hard; Son Jeremy Hard and his wife Holly; Daughter Amber Osborne and her Husband Wes; Granddaughter Kati Bobo and Husband Wesley; Granddaughter Christine Hard and Trent Osburn; Grandsons Jason Hard, Brady Hard, and Ethan Osborne; Granddaughters Ashley Sewell, Kelsi Hard, Lauren Hard, Keely Hard, and Hailey Osborne; Great-Granddaughters Aubrie Osburn and Lylith Bobo.
