Our Sweet Barbara Ann Rawlinson Solis sadly passed away July 29th 2022 in her loving home with her family. She was 77 years in age and 16 in heart. She was from Daisetta Texas, Born to Willie Mae & Clifford Rawlinson. She was the eldest of 7 children. (Raymond Rawlinson, Robert Rawlinson, Wanda Luquette, Wayne Rawlinson, May Sanders and Jakie Rawlinson. She left behind a Daughter Cynthia Solis, 3 Granddaughters, (Jessica Calderon, Laila Hosseini and Elizabeth Hosseini) 3 great grandchildren (Jasen McDonald, Kaylie McDonald and Olivia Fougeron. She also left behind her Son Rusty Slaughter and her Son-in-law John Hernandez. To honor her memory we are holding a celebration of her life on October 15th, 2022 at 10AM in Batson at Faith and Family Funeral Services, We invite anyone who knew her to attend and reflect on her life.

I have so many memories. No words can describe how much she is loved and missed. She excepted me as her own daughter, and never made me feel I didn’t belong. Although I did have second thoughts the time she was teaching Cynthia how to drive her car. 😳😬😂 Just kidding! You were an amazing lady!

I’m LeighAnne, Aunt Barbara’s Great niece. It’s time to let out a secret that she kept for me for so long! Well you see.. we liked to go shopping together and I was only fifteen. So, I only I had my permit and she LET ME DRIVE! My memes car.. her sister.. I’m sorry meme but I almost wrecked your car into the post office with Auntie in it. I forgot which pedal was brake and I pressed the brake. We got so close to the post office wall and all she could do was laugh at me and guess what? She NEVER told on me. I love you aunt Barbara and you’re a real one! I still tell that story to every person I meet to this day.
