We really adored Barbara. She always welcomed us and our kids into her home, and the kids spent lots of quality time with her. And she and Larry had such a great relationship! They enjoyed teasing each other in a fun way, and I know she missed him when he was gone. And I know how much your family will miss their mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Ms Mitchell was one of a kind! I loved her dearly. She is last of our wonderful lunch ladies from days ago. Always had a smile to greet you with and treated you like her own family. I visited with her just a few months ago and it was a pleasure to sit and talk with her. She was still just as sharp as a tack with her memory. I will miss her but carry all the wonderful memories of her.

I am so thankful I knew Barbara. She served school lunches always with a smile, always kind. I have fond memories of Lonnie sitting in Patricia’s lap during Mr. Atkinson’s Civics class. Heaven’s sounding sweeter all the time….prayers for all the family.
