Our little angel, Addilyn Mae Vandiver, 2, of Hardin gained her angel wings on Thursday, February 1, 2018, in Moss Hill. Addilyn was born on November 3, 2015, to her parents, Sheldon Lance and Heather Draper Vandiver in Hardin, TX.

Addilyn was an energetic, loving little girl and in the little time she was here she saw the world as a big playground. She had a contagious smile and was always smiling from ear to ear running around no matter what the day would bring.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Carmul L. Vandiver, Milton P Pansano, grandpa Butch, great-grandpa, William Munday, great-grandmothers, Ellen Knipe and Alma Polley, great-great-grandmother, Alma Mae Hartford, and great-great-grandfather, Earl McCreight.

Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, Sheldon and Heather Vandiver of Hardin, brother, Waylon Noel Vandiver of Hardin, grandparents, Jeanne Lynette Williams of Hardin, Charles Williams of San Angelo, TX, John Draper of Conroe, Cary and Tammy Vandiver of Fannett, Earl and Lillian Renee McDonald of Tarkington, and Maurice Fernandes of Tarkington, great-grandparents, Roy and Edna Whitmire of Hardin, WC and Susan Vandiver of Fannett, Karen Pansano of Bridge City, Harry and Carolyn Adams of Conroe, Don and Cindy Royer of Fannett, and great-great- grandmother, Helen Royer.

A celebration of Addilyn's life will be Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at 2:30 p.m. at Calvary Tabernacle Ministries in Batson. A gathering of Addilyn's family and friends will also be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the church.Interment will follow at Moss Hill cemetery.

Those honoring Addilyn as pallbearers are Sheldon Vandiver, Jasper Nickelnur, Caleb Kincannon, Landon Vandiver, Bryce Tomplait, and Mason Langford.

I didnt get to spend as much time with addy as i wanted to and i regret that so much. she was the most beautiful little girl just like her mother. i was filled with joy everytime i saw her but this one time at her uncle kevins and aunt Haileys home for her cousin's birthday party she ran to me and jumped up and hugged my neck so hard and i couldnt help but cry because i hadnt seen her for sometime and i had missed her so much and had told her mom that she wasnt going to remember me but she did and i will never forget that hug it was the best hug i have ever gotten. I love little Heather and i know that you touched so many and we were all blessed to have you in our lives and i will long for the day that Jesus comes back so i can get another hug from my baby.

Sweet Addie was one of my favorite little faces to photograph! She had those eyes that sparkles and a smile that could brighten the darkest day! She always wanted to see herself in my camera after I took her pictures.
