Addie Mae Votaw of Sour Lake, died on Monday, November 13, 2017 at Fairy's Landing in Hull. She was 96.

A service of remembrance will be held on Thursday November 16, 2017 at 10:00A.M. at Faith & Family Funeral Services Inc. with Reverend Lonnie Jordan officiating. Interment will follow at Guedry cemetery in Batson.

Serving as pallbearers are Jimmy Votaw, Tip Votaw, Michael Snider, Derrick Snider, and Nelson Votaw.

The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday November 15, 2017 from 6:00P.M. until 8:00P.M. at Faith & Family.

A native of Saratoga, she had lived in Sour Lake, since 1962 and was a homemaker. She was a faithful and longtime member of Apostolic Church of Sour Lake.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tip Votaw and son, Reverend James ' BO' Votaw. Sisters, Pinky Walker, Lillie Mae Jackson, Kate Wheeler, and Jimmie Eakens.

Survivors are son, Richard Votaw of Bryan,TX daughter -in- law, Paula Votaw of Sour Lake, and numerous nieces and nephews. Grandchildren:6, Great-grandchildren:12, and Great -Great grandchild 1.
