Please accept my heartfelt sympathy for the loss of A.W. He was a gentle man with a lot of love to share. I met him at Grayburg Baptist Church. He asked me what my name was, and I felt sure he had me confused with Charlott's ex-sister-in law, but NO! It turned out he went to school with my father and that is how he recognized me. He never failed to ask about my Dad, and even visited with him a couple of times. That meant the world to me. Mr. A.W. brought me fish a few times too. You all will be in my prayers.

I have not known you that long but I have been told stories of all the things you did while growing up & being in school with my mom. I did enjoy the talks we had on the phone while my mom was in the hospital. I was so looking forward to your canoes. RIP my friend!
