William Elton Williams

William Elton Williams, 58, beloved Father and Husband, was called to his eternal resting place on January 31, 2017. Born on February 11, 1958 in Houston, TX to Billie and Kennard Williams, he was the youngest of three children.

Elton is survived by his soulmate, best friend, and wife of 35 years, Tammy C. Williams and their children Amy Williams, Josh Williams and wife Kayla and grandchildren who he loved dearly, Zoey, Jacob, Laynie, and Luke. Elton’s mother Billie Williams, mother and father in-law Sissy and Bubba Loftin, sister Kathy and husband Ralph Kelly, brother-in law Sam Loftin and wife Kathy, Sister-in law Connie and husband Bob Lindsey. Elton’s nieces and nephews, Abbie Pursley, Jason and Kristina Kelly, Mike, Mark, Chris and David Lindsey, Raymond, Brandye, and Katie Loftin.

Elton is joining his father Kennard Williams, sister Katherine Murphy, and nephew Jerry Murphy in heaven.

Elton was a jack of all trades, never met a stranger, loved to laugh, and told everyone he loved them. He loved to hunt, fish, search for arrow heads, and he loved his poker playing friends like family. Elton started every morning reading his Bible and made a promise to God to be a better person today than he was yesterday.

A service of remembrance will be held on Saturday February 4, 2017 at 12:00 P.M. at the First Assembly of God Church of Saratoga, with Reverend Frank Aragon, Reverend Tolbert Hudspeth, and Kyle Burnett officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Groves cemetery in Livingston.

The family will be receiving friends on Friday February 3, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at First Assembly of God Church of Saratoga.

Serving as pallbearers are Troy Herod, Robbie Nugent, Bob Guedry, Charles Skinner, Kyle Martin, Johnny Williams, Blaine Wright and Alton Cain.

Honorary pallbearers are Jason Kelly, Ralph Kelly, Sam Loftin, Bob Lindsey, Price Stewart, Jason Richards and Gary Wiggins.
