Velma Mae Kelley

Velma Mae Kelley, 65, of Dayton, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday May 23, 2013 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was the best wife a man could have. She was a great cook and baker. She was a strong God-loving woman.
She is preceded in death by her father, Benjamin Reeme; daughter, Rebbeca Lorene Kelley; sister, Debbie Spurlock.
She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Ray Kelley of Dayton; mother, Sammie Johnson and husband Danny of Wallisville; step-mother, Jean Reeme of Flint, Michigan; children, Tammy Lee Kelley of Dayton, Georgia Dee Lognion and husband Boyd of Wellston, Oklahoma, Devona Stark and husband Jeff of Livingston and Ray Kelley, Jr. of Dayton; brothers, Danny Ray Spurlock and wife Michelle of Tarkington, Johnny Reeme and wife Kathy of Georgia; sisters, Cheryl Carnes of Flint, Michigan, Donna Schmitt of Burton, Michigan; favorite sister-in-law, Shirley Fudge and husband Ronny of Rye; grandchildren, Dwayne Best Jr. and wife Piper of Washington, Michael Best of Houston, Laci Lognion of Hardin, Paul Lognion of Wellston, Oklahoma, Cheyenne Moore and fianc Alan Martin of Kingwood, Dustin Moore of Livingston, Colton Stark of Livingston, Robyn Stark of Louisiana; great grandchildren, Kiera, Kayden, Owen, Ethan and Betty.
Her family will receive friends starting at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday May 28, 2013 at Moss Hill Assembly of God. A service of remembrance will be held Wednesday May 29, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Moss Hill Assembly of God, officiated by Reverend David Stark. Interment will follow at Holly Grove Cemetery in Polk County.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jeff Stark, Boyd Lognion, Paul Lognion, Dustin Moore, Allen Martin and Dwayne Best.
