Travis Eugene Williamson 76 of Batson, formerly of Beaumont, died Friday January 6, 2012 in Hull.

A service of remembrance will be held Wednesday January 11, 2012 at 2:00P.M. at the Chapel of Faith & Family Funeral Services of Batson with Reverend Richard Motes of the Batson United Pentecostal Church, and Reverend Lonnie Jordan of Daisetta United Pentecostal Church officiating Interment will follow at the Guedry cemetery of Batson. Pallbearers are Harold Biano, Dakota Walker, Kelly Lovett, Timothy Lovett, Christopher Lovett, Vagie Lynn Lovett. Honorary pallbearers are Mark Berman, Albert Brock, and Leo Watson.

The family will be recieving friends on Tuesday January 10, 2012 from 5:00P.M. until 9:00P.M. at Faith & Family.

Travis was born on September 26, 1935 to Elbert Travis Williamson and Alm Hobbs Williamson. Travis had lived in Beaumont for most of his life before moving to Batson in 1991 where he and his wife had lived. He was an Oilfield worker for Halliburton Services.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Stephen Williamson, sisters, Opal McCarrvel, Nancy Williams, and Vivian Zoch and brother Elbert Travis Williamson Jr.

Survivors are his wife Mary Byrd Williamson of Batson, sons Gregory Lynn Williamson of Beaumont, Vagie Lovett and wife Stacy of Stanley Louisiana, Kelly Lovett of Stanley Louisiana, Timothy Lovett and wife Heather of Keithville Louisiana, Chris Lovett and wife Jamie of Carmel Louisiana. Daughters Karan Berman and husband Mark of Beaumont, Cindy Biano and husband Harold of Hull, Helen Sandefer and husband Scott of Glendale Arizona. Sister Marie Kindle of Batson. Grandchildren fifteen; and Great Grandchildren five. Travis will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
