Thomas Wendell Tulley
Thomas Wendell Tulley, 75, of Hull, died Sunday, January 21, 2018, at Kindred Hospital in Pasadena surrounded by his family.
Born April 12, 1942, to Thomas Walter and Fern Tulley in their home near Aransas Pass, Texas.
Tommy played Bobcat football and was known as BIG CAT. He always tried to make people laugh.
Tommy was an ordained deacon and a Justice of the Peace in Liberty County.
As a member of North Main Baptist Church, Tommy thoroughly enjoyed being the greeter and throwing the welcome bread. Although he did not need a costume to be a character, one of his favorite activities was participating in the Christmas Under the Stars at North Main Baptist Church. He was an avid deer hunter and he liked to fish. He was never happier than when he was spending time with his grandchildren. Whether it was attending a sporting event, cheerleading, or just “hanging out”, give him a cup of coffee some conversation and he was happy.
Thomas Tulley was preceded in death by his wife Mary Tulley, parents, Thomas Walter Tulley and Fern Marie Thomas and 3 sisters.
Survived by his children: Jon Rachael Tulley of Galveston, Texas and Thomas Wade Tulley and his wife Staci of Hull, Texas. Brother George Tulley of Daisetta. Grandchildren: Thomas, Charlotte, Kori, Wyatt, Ethan. Numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

A service of remembrance will be held on Friday, January 26, 2018, at North Main Baptist Church at 10:00 A.M. with Reverend Dick Lintelman and Reverend Omar Cantu officiating. Interment will follow at Guedry Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are David Broom, Tom Chalfant, Thomas Stanley, Wyatt Tulley, Ethan Tulley, Joshua Tulley, Bill Burba and Jeff Wilson. Honorary pallbearers are George Tulley, Doug Shaw, Bert Shivers, Howard Brister, Tommy Harrison, Perry Best, and Mike McGarity.
The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, January 25, 2018, at North Main Baptist Church from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
