Theresa Michelle Sanders, a beacon of love and warmth, left this life on December 1, 2024, in Conroe, Texas, leaving behind a legacy of cherished memories and undying affection for her family. Born on April 28, 1969, Theresa embodied the spirit of joy and togetherness, a vibrant soul whose smile illuminated the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Throughout life, Theresa's love for her family was evident in every action she took. She showered her beloved nieces and nephew, whom she affectionately referred to as her grandchildren, with endless love and playfulness. In her heart, her great nieces and nephews were her great grandchildren, further expanding the circle of affection that wrapped around her large family. Her unparalleled zest for life shone brightly during family gatherings, particularly on holidays, where her passion for giving and being together was unmatched.
Theresa had a deep connection to adventure, expressed through her love for little road trips with her family. Each journey filled her with happiness, and her face would light up with excitement as they set off to explore new places together. This spirit of adventure was coupled with an unyielding loyalty to her beloved Texas A&M Aggies. An avid fan, she wore her maroon colors proudly; her fervor for the Aggies ran deep in her soul, and she will forever be remembered as one of their most devoted supporters.
While Theresa thrived in the company of her loved ones, she carried with her the memories of those who went before her. She was predeceased by her father, Charles Lewis Sanders; her mother, Rosa Irene Carouthers; her brother, Chuck Sanders; and her sister, Tanya Watson. The presence of these significant figures in her life remained a source of comfort, and she longed for the day when she would be reunited with her guardian angels once more.
Theresa leaves behind her sisters, Mirandy Harrell and husband Steven, and Sherri Parrish, who continue to hold her memory close to their hearts. She also leaves behind her cherished nieces and nephew/grandchildren: Candace and Jeffery Youngblood, Lauren and Tyler Martin, Candace and Jason Guest, Chelsea Neuenschwander, Whitney Wantland, and Anthony Breaux. The love she cultivated with her great nieces and nephews/great grandchildren, including Tristin Martin, McKenna Martin, Annabella Martin, Gavin Martin, Madison Harrell, Zach Yarber, Bryce Guest, Austin Guest, Brody Guest, Griffin Youngblood, Caroline Youngblood, Addie Neuenschwander, Carter Neuenschwander, Calie Neuenschwander, Xander Neuenschwander, Zaylee Morris, Taylynn Wantlana, and Persephone Breaux will echo in their hearts forever.
As we celebrate Theresa's remarkable life, we remember her not only for her unwavering devotion to her family and her vibrant spirit but also for the love and joy that she so freely gave. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy lives on in the hearts of those she cherished the most. May she rest peacefully, embraced by the angels she adored.
Honoring Theresa as pallbearers are Zach Yarber, Tyler Martin, Anthony Breaux, and Chris Carouthers. Honorary pallbearers are Brent Coots and Collin Bryant.
