Roy Jim Rice

Roy Jim Rice, 60, of Batson died on Tuesday September 24, 2013 at Dubuis Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. He lived most of his life in Tyler, he has lived in Batson since 2008. He is preceded by his natural parents, Tom selman Hutto and Letha Marie Craucy; brother, Tom David Powell.
He is survived by his wife Alice Faye Rice of Batson; step-sons Jacob Allen Roth and wife Diana of Batson, Joshua Aaron Roth and wife Sheena of Batson; step-daughter, Laura Beth Dean and husband Shawn of Lumberton; brothers, J.N. Hutto of Warren, Larry Wayne Hutto of Bon Wier, TX, Prentice Earl Green of Bridge Port, TX; sisters, Gladys 'Fay' Johnson of Hull and Linda Joyce Eason of Silsbee; numerous nieces and nephews. A private burial is scheduled for the family at Guedry Cemetery officiated by Reverend Bill Campbell.
