Roxanne Wiggins Haygood

of Sour Lake, departed this life on Monday July 18, 2016 at Harbor Hospice of Beaumont, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was 51.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday July 21, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at The Apostolic Church of Beaumont, with Reverend Jason Carr and Reverend Marvin Cole officiating. Interment will be held at Rosedale cemetery in Sour Lake.

Serving as pallbearers are Kimuel Haygood, Anthony Haygood, David Piel, Mike Snider, Dwain McGrath and Ed Simms.

The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday July 20, 2016 at The Apostolic Church from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.

Roxanne was born March 27, 1965 in Anahuac, Texas to Henry Ford Wiggins and Billie Marie Wiggins Clements, She had lived in Sour Lake, most of her life and had worked at Dairy Queen in Sour Lake, many years before becoming a homemaker. She was a member of The Apostolic Church of Beaumont.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband of 31 years Shane Haygood of Sour Lake; daughters, Ashley Piel and husband David of Hutto, Amanda Haygood of Sour Lake, and mother in law, Gayle Vanderwater of Sour Lake.

Brothers, Larry Ford Wiggins and wife Pat of Port Arthur, and Mike Wiggins and wife Becky of Laward, TX. Sisters, Paula Votaw of Sour Lake; Tina Murphy of Sour Lake; Sharon Shanell of Oklahoma City, and Darlene Triston of Laward TX, and granddaughter, Kinley Ann Piel.
