Ronnie Glenn Graham, a cherished soul born on October 25, 1948, in Liberty, Texas, passed away on September 12, 2024, at his residence. He was a devoted husband, dad, brother, uncle, grandpa, and friend to, leaving a profound mark on the hearts of those who were blessed to know him.
Ronnie’s life was filled with experiences that he loved to share, particularly the many joyful stories of his childhood adventures and the playful shenanigans he shared with his friends. His enthusiasm for storytelling was matched only by his immense pride in his family, always eager to brag about their accomplishments. Ronnie found great joy in recounting tales that brought laughter and fond memories to those around him.
A loving husband to his beloved wife, Charlotte Odom Graham, of Hull, Texas, Ronnie’s love for her radiated through every aspect of his life. Together, they created a home filled with warmth and kindness. As a father, he took immense pride in his sons, Mike Graham and his wife Tiffany of Hardin, Texas, and Kirk Graham of Hull, Texas. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Taylor and Sara Graham, both of Hardin, Texas, who brought additional joy and pride to his life. Numerous nieces, nephews and a host of extended family and friends.
Ronnie’s personality was one of hard work and dedication. He admired the beauty of the hayfields, from the days of cutting square bales to the larger round bales closer to the end of his hay baling days. His love for the land and labor was evident in the many hats he wore throughout his life as a machinist and a construction worker, he embodied the spirit of someone who took pride in providing for his family.
Beyond his work ethic, Ronnie found time for enjoyment; he loved visiting the casinos, where the thrill of chance brought him happiness. He was a man of many talents and an explorer of life in every sense. Ronnie was also known for his compassion and affection towards his grand-dog Thatsmine, affectionately referred to as Charlie from Ronnie, which further displayed his warm-hearted nature.
Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents, Van Aubrey Graham, and Dessie Arnold Graham Shivers; his brother, Van Graham; and his sister, Lynda Watson. Though they are no longer with him, their memories remain alive in the stories he shared and the love he carried.
The community is invited to celebrate the life of Ronnie Glenn Graham during the visitation, which will be held on September 17, 2024, from 5 PM to 8 PM at Faith & Family Funeral Services in Batson, Texas. His funeral service will take place on September 18, 2024, at 10 AM at the same location, followed by his burial at Guedry Cemetery in Batson.
Honoring Ronnie as pallbearers are John Brett, Garland Taylor, Mike Graham, Gordon Graham, Charles Watson, and Alan Beaver. Honorary pallbearers are Taylor Graham, Sara Graham, Eugene Thibodeaux, Roy Besch, Curtis Fregia, Craig Basham, Tracy LaBuff, Thad LeNormand, and Kory Brett. Ronnie would like to honor his friends that he is now reunited in heaven with as heavenly pallbearers Eddie Fregia, Ross Taylor, Lawrence Tywater, Eddie Booth, Darel Quinn, Howard Williamson, and Jimmy Taylor.
Ronnie’s legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He leaves behind a tapestry woven with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
