Robert Edwin Nance

Robert Edwin Nance, 68, of Daisetta, TX passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021, at Liberty Dayton Regional Medical. Mr. Nance was born April 6, 1953, in Houston, Tx to the late Robert Nance and Mary Arline McKee. He was a retired oilfield worker and a volunteer firefighter for Hull Daisetta VFD for 15 years. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Mr. Nance is preceded in death by his father, Robert Nance; mother, Mary McKee; grandmother, Bobbie Zander; and brother, Jimmy Courtney.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Robbie Nance Jr. of Daisetta, TX; brothers, Jack Courtney of Livingston, TX and Van Courtney of New Augusta, MS; sisters, Bonnie Faabor of Crosby, TX, Bobbie Dixon of Mobile, AL, Mary Hiden of New Augusta, MS, and Janella Ingram of New Augusta, MS; and a host of loving family and friends.

A service of remembrance will be held Sunday, September 19, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. at Hull-Daisetta Fire Department interment to follow at Oakdale Cemetery in Daisetta. A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, September 18, 2021, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Hull-Daisetta Fire Department.

Honoring Mr. Nance as pallbearers are Benny Carroll, Nathan Gunter, Justin Gartner, Michael Mouton, J.T. Smith, Eric Molina, Bubba Taylor, Jacob Taylor, and Rodger Hufford.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Hull-Daisetta Fire Department in memory of Bob Nance.
