Robert Chester Locke

Robert Chester Locke of Daisetta, Tx went home to heaven to be with his Lord God and Jesus His Savior on September 30, 2021, at Wharton Hospital, Wharton, Tx. Mr. Locke was born September 25, 1932, in Providence, Tx to Bob Locke and Neomi Teal Locke. He was a graduate of Liberty High School in Liberty, Tx. He was a member of the Liberty Fire Department and the Hull-Daisetta Fire Department. He owned an electronics service company and tv, radio, and tower shop in Liberty, TX. He also worked for Allison's Funeral Services. Mr. Locke also served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Wartime. He was an electrician, building churches all over America, RV volunteer, Assembly of God missionary from 1991-2000, and a member of Hillister Assembly of God and First Assembly of God Liberty, Tx. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Mr. Locke is preceded in death by his parents, Bob Locke & Neomi Locke of Hardin, Tx; daughter, Terri Lynn Kudlemeyer; mother of his children, Charlotte Bingham Locke and Sharon Ryan Locke Stevens of Liberty; grandson and great-granddaughter; 3 sons, Robert David Locke, Cad Dowdell, and Randy Dowdell; sister, Nora Locke Hunt; brothers in law, Paul Hunt and James Blanchard.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 34 years, Anna Ruth Dowdell Locke; son in law, Lewis Kudlemeyer; 7 sons, Richard Locke, Daniel Locke, Tony Locke and wife Melissa, Charlie Locke, Raymond Dowdell and wife Liz, David Dowdell, Michael Dowdell Sr. and wife Stacy; 26 grandchildren;4 great-grandchildren;4 great great-grandchildren; sister, Dorene Blanchard of Hardin, Tx; brother, John Locke, and wife, Georgia of Greeley, CA; brother in law, Ron Hollingworth and wife Frances of Houston, Tx; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of loving family and friends.

Cremation services are under the care of Faith & Family Funeral Services Inc. A memorial service will be held at Peebles Cemetery in Goodrich, Tx with Pastor Rusty West officiating.
