Rhilmer Josephine Wilson Fregia

Rhilmer J. Wilson Fregia 89 of Batson, died Sunday March 5, 2017 at Magnolia Place Health Care in Liberty.

A service of remembrance will be held Tuesday March 7, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Batson Prairie Baptist Church with Reverend Lee Gruver and Reverend Dick Lintelman officiating. Interment will follow at Guedry Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers are William Horn, Vernon Lewis Fregia Jr, Mitchell Tanner, Robert Gobert, Kelton Fenton and Justin Zickefoose.

The family will be receiving friends also on Tuesday March 7, 2017 from 10:00 AM until service time at the church.

Rhilmer was born in Batson, on September 19, 1927 to Henry Pipes Wilson and Julia Etta Daniel Sidan. She lived in Batson most of her life and attended the Batson Prairie Baptist Church. Rhilmer worked as a cashier for 45 years and worked at Brookshire Brothers for 16 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry Pipes Wilson and Julia Etta Daniel Sidan; husband, Vernon Horace Fregia; sister, Thelma Smith; brothers, Frank and James Wilson and step-father, Herbert Sidan.

Rhilmer is survived by a son, Vernon Lewis Fregia Sr. and wife Billie Jo of Hull; daughters, Laverne Barrett of Liberty, Carolyn Horn of Liberty, and Betty Arnold of Batson. Grandchildren, Casey Fenton and husband David, Vernon L. Fregia Jr. and wife Tiffany, Tammi Zickefoose, Veronica Davis, William Horn and wife Delana, Sharon Horn, JoAnne Leger, Theresa Horn, Sandra Tucker and husband Fred and Lydia Whittington and husband Ben. 24 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and loving friends.

The family requests in lieu of flowers be donated to the Alzheimer's Association Suite 200, Dallas, Texas 75205.
