Patsy Ruth "Punkin" Murphy O'Neill

Patsy Ruth 'Punkin' Murphy O'Neill of Liberty, TX died on Sunday, November 19, 2017, at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was 63.

A service of remembrance will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at 2:00 P.M. at Faith & Family Funeral Services Inc. with Reverend Jimmy Charles officiating. Interment will follow at Moss Hill cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers are Gage Dryden, Kyle Nelms, John Bell, Allan Bell, Kelley O' Neill, and Tommy Strawn.

The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, November 21, 2017, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Faith & Family.

She was a native and lifelong resident of Liberty and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Goldie Murphy. Sisters, Shirley Ulkie, Lounell 'Sissy' Roscoe and Alice 'Sister' Cleveland.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years Dale O'Neill of Liberty, and son, Warren Dale O'Neill of Corrigan. Daughters, Amanda Finley of Hardin, and Sherri Lynn Smith and husband Aaron of Tarkington. Brother, James Edward ' Buddy' Murphy and wife Carolyn of Huntsville. Sisters, Mary Ward and husband Bob of Baytown, Linda Remsing of Dayton, Janice O'Neill and husband Colin of Conroe, Loretta Bell of Conroe, Debra Strawn of Moss Hill, and Kathy Brandon of Vidor and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and a host of loving friends and relatives.

Grandchildren are Tyler, Hunter, Kyle, Destane, Cody, Jaron, Jordan, Kyndall, Gage, Tori, Abbi and Gabi.
