Orbin Erwin Eakens

Orbin Erwin Eakens, 87, of Saratoga, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday January 23, 2013. He was a life long residence of Saratoga and a member of The First Baptist Church of Saratoga. He served his country during WWII in the U.S. Army with the rank of corporal. He worked in in the oilfields for many years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Alice Eakens; wife, Thelma Butler Eakens; brother, J.D. Eakens; sister and brotheer-in-law, Peggy and Roy Truitt.
He is survived by his daughter, Pam Molina of Wildwood, TX; step-daughter, Janell Payne of Lumberton; grandchildren, Tommy Payne and wife Janet of Lumberton, Linda Payne of Lumberton, Eric Molina of Colorado, TX, Phillip Molina of Colorado, TX; three great grandchildren; sisters, Betty Jo Lawson of Snyder, TX, Dorothy May of Bixby, TX; numerous nieces and nephews.
His family will receive friends at Faith and Family Funeral Services on Friday January 25, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A service of remembrance is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday January 26, 2013 at Faith and Family Funeral Services, officiated by Reverend Frank Aragon and Reverend Billy Wayne Walston. interment will follow at Guedry Cemetery in Batson.
Serving as pallbearers will be Carl May, Thomas Payne, Robert Sparks, James Edward Sparks, Michael Sparks and Troy Don Sparks. Honorary pallbearers are Don Brown, John Taylor Payne and Tom Cryer.
