Odelle Powell Hargraves

of Kountze, Texas died on Friday July 15, 2016 at Pine Arbor in Silsbee. She was 93.

A service of remembrance will be held on Tuesday July 19, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at Faith Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church in Kountze. Interment will follow at Colmesneil City Cemetery.

The family will be receiving friends also on Tuesday July 19, 2016 from 11:00 A.M. until time of service at Faith Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church in Kountze.

A native of Brookeland, TX, she had lived in Kountze 74 years. She had sold Avon for 20 years and was also in Real Estate for many years. She was a faithful member of Faith Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hargraves and sister, Miona Powell Arnold. Brothers, Buddy Powell and Bill Preston.

Survivors are son, James Robert Hargraves of Kirbyville; daughters, Betty Hargraves Foreman and husband Bart of Kountze; and Bobbie Dell Yates and husband George of Colmesneil.

Grandchildren are Kim Hargraves and close friend Terry Mosley, Christa Hargraves, Rodney Hargraves, Lloyd Robert Walton and wife Cindy,Timothy Dale Walton and wife Carmen. Great Grandchildren, Katy and Chase Hargraves, Omeed Asthiani, Iman Asthiani, Joe Hargraves and Nik Fairchild.
